Have you been feeling anxious about the news lately, and how it will impact you and your loved ones? We have too. As mindfulness practitioners, we long for a deeper sense of groundedness and connection during these disconnected times.
That’s why The Yoga Nook is pairing up with local Bolton resident, Ryan Rose Cherecwich to host a series of community circles on Sundays in November to help us “catch our breath” together in community. (No prior meditation/yoga experience, physical flexibility or levitating required!)
In these circles (held every Sunday in November at 7pm except 11/30), we will:
Some of the benefits of this facilitated circle format include:
To be clear, we know that meditating and talking together can’t solve every problem we face as a community. But together, we hope to help each other carry what feels hard to hold alone.
Our Sunday Circles are donation-based with 50% of proceeds going to The Worcester County Food Bank. We ask for a minimum donation of $15.00 to support this charity.
About our facilitator, Ryan Rose Cherecwich, M.Ed, CMT-P:
Ryan first fell in love with Massachusetts (and her husband) at Emerson College, where she earned a B.S. in Journalism. She then spent 10+ years in NYC, earning her M.Ed and yoga teaching certification, and teaching mindfulness to children and adults across NYC. She continues to center families and their needs as the founder of In Tending, an online community and newsletter devoted to helping caregivers move through burnout and grief and to live happier, healthier, more liberated lives (ryanroseweaver.substack.com). She is thrilled to be a newly-minted resident of Bolton, and proud to join the teaching team at Yoga Nook in creating not just a space where people can meet their individual health goals, but where they can more deeply connect with each other, and ultimately build healthier communities together.
Registration closes NOV 9, 11 PM
